Lillian Ellen Carrano, age 91 of Stratford passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Lord Chamberlain Health and Rehab Center. She was the widow of Phillip J. Carrano Sr.. Born in Bridgeport on March 18, 1923 she was the daughter of the late John and Jean McKendrick Warren. Lillian was an employee of Bridgeport Hospital for many years until her retirement. She is survived by her loving children; Dennis Carrano Sr. and his wife Diane, David W. Marchbank and his wife Cynthia Carrano, Paul Carrano, Jeanne Miller and her husband Richard all of Stratford and Debbie Fernandez and her husband Tom of Angier, NC. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her son Phillip Carrano Jr., grandson, Patrick Wade Carrano and brother John Warren. The family would like to extend the deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff of Lord Chamberlain for the excellent care of Lillian. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February, 7, 2015 at 10:30 am at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will take place in the spring. Friends may greet the family on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
