Leon Henry "Tim" Merrill Jr. age 87 of Stratford passed away on July 7, 2015 at home from long term effects of dementia. Born in Bridgeport on November 3, 1927 to the late Leon H. Merrill Sr. and Keziah I. Merrill, he was a member of local 443 Teamster's Union and a WWII US Navy Veteran. Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Joan Reid Merrill, a son, Timothy Merrill of Shelton and daughter Susan Merrill of Hingham, MA and a sister, Janet Carroll of Stratford.
