Born Alexandrina (Lena) Posta to Filomena and Benedetto Posta 12/28/24. Predeceased by 6 siblings, Angelina Porto, Carmen Posta, Joseph Posta, Teresina Posta, Nicita Mario Posta and John Posta. Lena is also predeceased by her husband Vincent James (Jimmy) Smerglinolo, a son Frank V. Smerglinolo, and Sandra Lee Smerglinolo Cote. Lena is survived by her daughter, Cora Smerglnolo who she resided with till God called her home. Also survived by her devoted son Mark A. Smerglinolo and his wife Jody; grandchildren, James, Michael and Thomas Cote, Christine Cote, Gianna Smerglinolo, Jada Teixteira and Ricardo, and Johnny and Ashley Texteira; great-grandchildren, Briana, Jason and John John...Too many wonderful nieces and nephews to mention that made her life a pleasant one. Born and raised in Bridgeport CT, she had a great love of people and life. Graveside services will be  private and a celebration of life mass will be at the convenience of the family that has not been determined yet.
