Kevin Joseph Ciuci passed peacefully in his sleep on February 20th after a long battle with cancer.

Kevin was born on March 21, 1963 to Pat and Joe Ciuci of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He grew up in the North End with his two brothers, Gary and Ken (his twin) and two sisters, Gail (Gorelick) and Lynn (Kernstock). The family moved to Fairfield when Kevin was still young and he enjoyed his childhood there playing music with his brothers, spending time at the beach, and causing trouble with his friends.

Kevin played music (bass guitar) his entire life and only ever considered himself a professional musician. He worked in tech for twenty years, but never considered himself a technician. While working for Pitney Bowes, he met Kathy Barney and began taking her out for drinks and surf and turf; they were married in June of 1990. They had one daughter, Al, in 1992, and remained together until his passing. In addition to music, he found joy in his many friendships - mostly to the boys he met as a teen in Fairfield - and in playing golf, watching golf, old movies and movie stars, the Yankees, the Giants, old cars, politics, fishing, and truly tasteless jokes. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of actors and movies, and he probably remembered the name of every single person he'd ever met.

Kevin will rejoin many of his loved ones, including his Mom and Dad and his siblings Gail and Gary.  We will gather to honor his memory on March 20 from 4-8 at the Main Penfield Pavilion in Fairfield - we look forward to seeing you all there.
