Jules Andre Etienne Sr. age 59 of Bridgeport passed away on Thursday March 31, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Haiti and was the son of the late Jean Pierre-Louis and Dovika Etienne and was an area resident for 37 years. He had worked for Holmes Security in Norwalk prior to his illness. He loved music and was an excellent guitar player and had a band in Haiti. Survivors include his beloved wife, Liliane Dupervil Etienne, 2 sons, Jules A. Etienne Jr. of Bridgeport, and Edwin Etienne of Norwalk, 2 daughters, Sherley Etienne of Waterbury and Juliane Etienne Murphy of Norwalk, 5 brothers, Rico, Reginal, Toto and Gabriel Pierre-Louis and Serge Etienne, 2 daughters, Kitley Pierre-Louis and Ariane Pasquette and several additional brothers and sisters in Haiti and also 7 loving grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Friday April 8, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church, Stratford. Burial will follow in Lakeview .Cemetery.
