Joyce Smith of Stratford passed away on April 6, 2026.  She was the wife of the late Joseph Smith.  She was the daughter of Viola Holdsworth Brennan and Charles F. Brennan. She was a life long  resident of Stratford and a graduate of Stratford High School and Butler Business School. She worked at the accounting firm of Nestor   Sarka and Schurmann for over 40 years.  She is survived by two sisters, Carol Benichak of Stratford and Kathleen Eaton of Salem and a nephew Michael Eaton of Austin and a niece Jennifer Oloski of Salem.

Friends may greet the family on Tuesday April 14, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. Burial in Union Cemetery will be held privately.
