Joyce E. Dugan, age 87 of Fairfield formally of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2106 at the Jewish Home for the Elderly. She was the widow of Edward T. (Dixie) Dugan. Born in Bridgeport on April 24, 1929 she was a daughter of the late Walter and Grace Peck Krucklin. Joyce was an avid gardener with a gift of growing African Violets and Gardenias', she enjoyed dancing and attending Broadway musicals. She was most fond of spending time with her loving grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted son Kenneth E. Dugan and his wife Cindy of Shelton and her sisters, Verda Stott and Marjorie Rogers. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Steven Dugan and his wife Kristin and their daughter, Ashleigh Dugan and Shannon Dugan Byrne and her husband Brandon and their children; Griffin, Maizie and Lyla Byrne. In addition to her beloved husband she was predeceased by her sisters; Inez Bowes, Barbara Hrabstock and Jean Briscoe. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10:30 am at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford with Rev. Ed Rawls officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday evening, September 28, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
