Josephine Porcelli Toppi, age 96 of Bridgeport, widow of Alberto Toppi, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday February 13, 2015 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in the Bronx, NY she was the daughter of the late Ermenilgildo and Assunta Porcelli. She was the loving mother of Tina Espinal and her husband Francisco of Bridgeport, and beloved grandmother of Jonathan and Andrew Espinal . Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers; Vittorio, Ralph, Stanley and Nicola Porcelli. Visiting hours will be held on Monday February 16, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Guido Montanero, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
