In Loving Memory of Josephine A. Susi

Josephine A. Susi, affectionately known as Jojo, was born on April 7, 1942, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and passed peacefully on October 28, 2026.

Jojo lived most of her life in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and is remembered warmly by her family and friends. She was a beautiful soul with an amazing memory, and she loved life’s simple joys, especially cupcakes, donuts, and cake. Family birthdays in April often included her favorite treats, and those sweet memories will forever be cherished by her loved ones.

She was predeceased by her parents, Valentino G. Susi and Marion Laiacona Susi, both of Bridgeport, Connecticut, and her brother, John V. Susi, of Ansonia, Connecticut.

She leaves behind her beloved sister-in-law, Concetta (Cettina) Susi, the wife of her late brother, John V. Susi, and Cettina and John’s three daughters, Suzanne O’Hara and her husband, Jonathan O’Hara; Deborah DiStefano and her husband, Raffaello DiStefano; and Brenda Mierzejewski and her husband, David Mierzejewski, along with several other nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday November 6, 2026 at 1:00p.m. in the Mt. Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Ave. Bridgeport.

Please enter the Main entrance at North Ave and Dewey St. and follow sign # 1 to the gravesite.
