John Walter Chapman, 56 of Stratford passed away peacefully at home. Born in Bridgeport he was the son of the late Walter and Mary Mazzacane Chapman. He was an auto mechanic before he took ill and loved animals, Nascar and reading. Survivors include a son, Patrick Chapman, a daughter, Heather Chapman, a brother, Richard Chapman and his wife Kathleen, four sisters, Kathleen (Edward) Konosky, Marsha Chapman, Nancy ( Robert ) Kastner and Barbara (Joseph) Esposito, grandson Gabriel Hafer and several nieces and nephews. All service will be held privately.
