Joanne Viselli-Wheeler was born on February 23, 1966 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.  She entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 4, 2020, at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by family and friends after a long, courageous battle with kidney disease.  Joanne was pre-deceased by her parents, Michael and Stella Viselli; her sister, MaryEllen Warner; and her mother-in-law, Barbara Wheeler.

Joanne loved traveling and getting together with family and friends.  She enjoyed spending hot, sunny days at the beach.  An excellent cook and baker, she enjoyed entertaining over the holidays and would open her home to anyone.  Joanne never forgot a birthday – every year she'd be the first person to call you and then bake your favorite cake.

Joanne leaves behind her loving husband, Mark Wheeler, who was truly the love of her life as she was his pretty lady!  She is survived by her four children:  Lizzy Betts, Jessica Viselli, Jennifer Viselli and Jonathon Viselli.  In addition to her husband and children, she leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Carolyn Viselli, and her sister and brother-in-law, Jose and Judith Hernandez.  Joanne had eight wonderful grandchildren whom she cherished:  Jovonnie, Julianna, Juliette, Brianna, Jessalyn, Matilda, Angus and Jayce.  She also had several nephews:  Wayne and Danny Smith, David Warner, Jr. and Jose, Jr. and Anthony Hernandez.  Joanne had lifelong friends who have always been there when she needed them including Megan Casey, Gina Villella, Janice Sisbarro, Pauline Aiken and Verna Puccio.
