Joanne M. Sobota, age 71 of Stratford , passed away on Thursday, September 1,2016 at her home. Born in Bridgeport on August 24, 1945 she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Muriel Zinn Wegrzyn. Joanne was a medical Laboratory Technician for Bridgeport Hospital, Internal Medicine of Westport, Norwalk Medical Group and Yale New Haven Hospital during her career. She is survived by her siblings; Connie Taylor of Ansonia, Thomas Wegrzyn of Oxford and Muriel Young of Bridgeport. She is also survived by her loving nephews; Thomas Morrissey, Sean Morrissey and Darren Taylor and their families, as well as a niece and nephews.
