Joan Marjorie Kaechele, age 86 of Stratford formerly of Trumbull passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital after a short illness. She was the widow of Robert Kaechele. Born in Bridgeport on March 27, 1932 she was the daughter of the late George and Marjorie Hayward Wheeler. Mrs. Kaechele was a secretary and receptionist with doctors Shah & Garvey for many years until her retirement. Joan was very active at the First Presbyterian Church in Fairfield and a former member of the church choir.  She is survived by her loving children; James Kaechele and his wife Soy and Denise Kaechele both of Shelton . She is also survived by her grandchildren; James Kaechele, Sarah (J.R.) Reilly, Lauren Kaechele, Peter (Rebekah) Gemza and Thomas (Jessica) Gemza and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:30 am at First Presbyterian Church, Fairfield with Rev.
