James Joseph (JJ) Marino, age 23, April 16, 1992 – May 12, 2015, died unexpectedly at home in Stratford. JJ is survived by his parents, Tracey Marino of Stratford and Joseph Marino of Mamaroneck, NY, his grandparents, Jim and Judy O'Connell of Portsmith, RI and the McGowan and Callahan families of Newport, RI and Middletown, RI, his sister Jessica Marino of Staten Island, NY. Before moving to Connecticut, JJ attended Harrison High School. He loved fishing with his Dadoo and played soccer, basketball, lacrosse, baseball and loved to skateboard. JJ will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Visiting hours will be held on Monday May 18, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday May 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Lucy's Church, Middletown, RI with burial in St. Columbus Cemetery, Middletown.
