Jane Silva, age 76, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital.  She was the devoted and loving wife of Ernani Silva.  Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on December 15, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Janine and Dalva Silveira Gusmao.  Jane was a teacher at L.A.C. Nursery School in Larchmont for many years before her retirement.  Jane was a caring and beautiful person inside and out and was always there to lend a helping hand or show her support.  She loved to be in her garden and enjoyed doing crafts with all of the children in her life.  In addition to her husband Ernani, she will be sadly missed by her son, Eric Silva of Denver.  Friends may greet the family on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615.  A prayer service will take place at 4:30 pm at the funeral home.  To offer online condolences to her family please visit www.dennisanddarcy.com
