Iva Mae ( Nanny ) Stiles Discepolo, age 94 of Bridgeport passed away on Monday March 7, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on a farm in Kane, PA, she was one of eight children of the late Ray and Carrie Faulkroyd Stiles. She married her husband Anthony who passed away in 1979 and lived in Bridgeport for sixty two years. Iva enjoyed taking care of her roses and feeding the fish in her backyard pond, making peanut butter fudge and loving all her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Nanny". The family would like to thank the 7th floor staff at Bridgeport Hospital for their loving and supportive care during her stay. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Patricia L. Formato and her husband Angelo of Bridgeport, a sister, Helen Steinfurth of Colorado, 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren , 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Frances Ann Ezzo. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday March 10, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday March 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Deacon Raymond Chervenak, officiating..
