Herbert T. Hudson, age 75 of Shelton passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Ludlowe Health Care after a brief illness. Born in Bridgeport on June 8, 1941 he was a son of the late Frederick and Violet Taylor Hudson. Herbert was retired from Textron Lycoming Co. where he was an account manager for many years. He was an avid sports fan especially the UCONN basketball teams. He was a loved and devoted father to his children; Mark Hudson and his wife Cristina of Prospect, Scott Hudson and his wife Diane of Derby and Robyn Zimmerman and her husband Pete of Seymour. He is also survived by his sister Beverly Parker of Delaware and 7 grandchildren; Christopher Zimmerman, Bradley, Brandon, Leah, James, Kyle and Caleb Hudson, a niece and several nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 6:00 pm at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford with Pastor Simeon Law officiating. Friends may greet the family on Monday evening from 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
