George E. Dubord, age 86, a longtime resident of Stratford, entered peaceful into eternal rest on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Masonicare in Wallingford where he spent the last chapter of his life. A sincere thank you to Rammage 3 and it's staff for their compassion and loving care of George. He was the devoted husband of the late Vera Dubord for 46 years. George was born in Bridgeport to the late John and Mary Dubord. George was honorably discharged from the Army of the United States in 1948. Up until the time of his death George, was a Mason who was a member of America St. John Lodge #8 for 58 years. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday March 23, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment with full military honors will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
