George Almeida, age 92 of Shelton passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Orange Health Care. George was a WW11 Army Veteran and was a crane operator for the Bullards Company retiring after 35 years of service. He was the husband of the late Cacilda Franco Almeida and the late Ruth Almeida. He was also predeceased by his parents, Abilio and Diolinda Gomes Almeida. Survivors include 3 beloved sons; Robert Almeida of Shelton, Ronald Almeida and his wife Allyson of Wallingford and Raymond Almeida and his wife Stephanie of New Milford, a loving daughter, Linda Lizotte and her husband Giles of Port St. Lucie, FL, a brother, Seraphin Almeida and his wife Jane of Milford, 4 devoted grandchildren, Steven Lizotte and his wife, Janine, Amy Lynn Sangster and her husband Ken, Joshua and Michael Almeida, 4 great grandchildren, Natalie, Nathan, Parker and Branson. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark's Church , 500 Wigwam Lane. Stratford.
