Felicia Ann Sherwood, age 97, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Ludlowe Center in Fairfield. The widow of James Sherwood, she was born in Hartford on May 22, 1917 to John and Anna Gartska Zawadski. She attended Harding High School and was a long time employee of Harvey Hubbell Inc. of Bridgeport before her retirement. She is survived by her loving daughter, Felicia Bousquet and her husband Warren of West Chester, OH. Grammie, as she was affectionately called will be sadly missed by her grandchildren; Scott (Daphne) Bousquet of Tyrone, GA, Laura (Jeff) Wallace of Malabar, FL, Jill (Preston) Elliott of Bexley, OH and Lynn Bousquet of Portland, OR. Great grandchildren; Brant and Ceres Bousquet and Grace and Jack Elliott. Brothers; Henry Zawadski of Bridgeport and Jack Zawadski of Palm Harbor, Fl. Sister; Anne Crepeau of Milford and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters; William, Gilbert, Charles, Leonard, Stephen and Zigmont Zawadski, Valerie Battagliola and Bernice Vipond. Grammie will always be remembered and loved for her independent spirit, generosity and wit. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 23, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. Visiting hours will be held on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to services. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
