Evelyn E. Watt, 86, of Stratford, passed away on 11 September, 2014. Mrs. Watt was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Richard C. Watt. Mrs. Watt was a member of the Trumbull Church of Christ, the Stratford Historical Society, Friends of Boothe Memorial Park, and the Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, VA. Evelyn enjoyed gardening, young people, U.S. History, reading and writing.
She is survived by two sons, Richard A. Watt and wife Mary, and Robert C. Watt and wife Linda all of Stratford. Two granddaughters, Jennifer Watt Williamson and husband Richard of Mechanic Falls, ME, and Elizabeth Watt Cardwell and husband Guy of Bush, Louisiana. Two great granddaughters, Julia Elizabeth Cardwell and Mariana Elizabeth Cardwell of Bush, Louisiana. Her sister Carolyn L. Metz and husband Robert of Trumbull. Niece, Sharon E. Metz of Shelton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 15, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in Church of Christ, 2 Drew Circle, Trumbull, CT with Rev. Ron Saracino, Pastor officiating.
