Evelyn Jane Ohmes, age 89 of Stratford, CT, passed away on April 10, 2026 in Stratford, CT. Born on October 15, 1936 in the Borough of the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of George Raymond Sparkes and Marion Pinkerton Sparkes. Evelyn (Lynne) Ohmes was predeceased by her husband, Robert Donald Ohmes (1935-2023) and her son Lawrence Peter Ohmes (1965-1991).

Evelyn is survived by her son, Robert Frederick Ohmes and his wife Meredith of Pelham, NY, and her son Scott Raymond Ohmes of Stratford, CT as well as her two grandsons, Lawrence Scott Ohmes and William Robert Ohmes.
