Evelyn Setterlund Carlson, age 95 of Cheshire passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2013 at Elim Park Health Care Center. She was the widow of Arthur J. Kennedy in 1974 and also by her second husband Carl Carlson. Born in Bridgeport on November 14, 1917, she was the daughter the late Edwin H. Setterlund and Ruth Anderson Setterlund. Mrs. Carlson was a registered nurse and the Director of Employees & Student Health Services at Bridgeport Hospital for many until her retirement. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Lobdell of Wolfboro, NH, grandchildren; Kathryn (Frank) DelMedico of Hampton, NH and Kevin (Stacy) Lobdell of Bedford, NH. She is also survived by her great grandchildren; Anthony DelMedico and Alexander and Ryan Lobdell. In addition to her husbands she was predeceased by her son in-law David Lobdell. Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Friday August 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Nichols Farm Burial Ground, Trumbull with the Rev. Jim Midgley officiating.
