Ernestine Limmer Mastro, age 86, of Bridgeport, widow of Louis Mastro passed away on Tuesday December 3, 2013 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Munich Germany she came to Bridgeport sixty six years ago and operated the North End Variety Store with her husband Louis for over thirty years. She enjoyed baking, cooking, crafts, gardening and loved animals. Her most enjoyable time was being with her family. Survivors include her two devoted daughters, Ernestine Mastro and her fiancé Steven Coleman of Bridgeport and Rosemarie Mastro-Watanabe and her husband Eric of Milford, three loving grandchildren, Cassandra Marie LaFleur, Shelby Myles-Louis Bainbridge and Jessica Marie Bainbridge. All services and burial will be held privately.
