It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Eric Stemmler of Wallingford, CT. Eric passed away on February 16, 2025 surrounded by his loving family but he left us with a legacy of love, loyalty, kindness and light that will live on forever.

Eric was born February 24, 1978, having lived in Stratford and Portland before moving to Wallingford.  He was a graduate of Bunnell High School in Stratford.  He was most recently employed by Modern Materials Corp., North Haven where he was a valued employee. Eric enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, jet-skiing, biking, and traveling to Florida.

Eric is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Silbereisen Turner of Stratford; his father Jay Stemmler and his wife Denise, of Portland; his brother Jason Stemmler and his wife Maria, of Trumbull; his brother Michael Stemmler and his wife Sarah, of Rocky Hill; and his sister Dana Pacelli and her husband Al of Northford.  Eric is also survived by his seven nieces and nephews who adored him beyond measure and with whom he found great joy.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 20th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford, CT

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21st at the First Congregational Church, 2301 Main Street, Stratford.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Congregational Church Memorial Fund.
