On the morning of September 1, 2022, Ellen "Woo" Neary Kaeser, age 91, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital. Ellen was comforted by her family members at the time of her passing.

Ellen was married to the previously deceased John Richard "Dick" Kaeser. In addition to her husband, Ellen was predeceased in death by four very special people: her parents Dan and Ellen Neary, her sister Sue Pengue, and her son-in-law Bob Green. She is survived by her children, Suzanne Green of Charleston, SC, Nancy Kessing and her husband Rowdy of Stratford, CT, and her son Richard Kaeser and his wife Susan of Fenwick Island, Delaware. Ellen was blessed with ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and was very close to her nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Ellen had a legacy of loving and caring for her family, friends and community. For many years, Ellen was an active member in the Ladies Guild at St. Mark's Church in Stratford. She was a teacher at the Stratford YMCA Preschool Program, and more recently, she was able to share her passion for life with her "Golden Girls", friends and community at Split Rock Assisted Living in Shelton, Connecticut.

Visitation services will be held on Friday, September 9 at 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the Dennis Darcy Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home located at 2611 Main Street, Stratford, Connecticut. The funeral will be held on Saturday, September 10 at 10:00 AM in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, Connecticut. Those attending the service are asked to meet directly at church. Interment will immediately follow at Union Cemetery, Stratford.
