Eleanor Patricia Barnett, age 82, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 2, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Hazelton, PA she was a CNA at Bridgeport Health Care for 35 years before her retirement. Eleanor loved flowers, traveling and cooking. Most of all she loved being with her beloved family who survive her; a son, Vincent Barnett of Wallingford, a daughter, Debra Barnett of Bridgeport, a sister, Patricia Minardi of Derby, 7 loving grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Elsie Favale. Friends and family may greet the family on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford.
