It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Eileen R. Lubik, age 95, on April 19, 2025, in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Born on June 18, 1929, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Eileen led a vibrant and fulfilling life, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew her. A professional in real estate sales and interior design, she had an eye for beauty and a talent for creating warm and welcoming spaces. Her passions extended to gardening and crafts, pursuits that reflected her creativity and love for life. Eileen was known for her outgoing nature and sociable spirit, always ready to share a kind word or bring people together.
She is survived by her loving son, Russ Lubik (Cindy) and daughter Donna Falcioni (Kevin); her son-in-law, Richard Gigliotti; her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Falcioni, Stephanie Waite, Philip Lubik, and Christopher Lubik; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden and Zoe Waite. Eileen is also remembered by several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent W. Lubik Jr.; her daughter, Diane Gigliotti; and her sisters, Jean Desrosiers and Nancy Standley.
Eileen was deeply involved in her faith communities at Stratford United Methodist Church and Bluffton United Methodist Church, where she found joy in fellowship and service.
A memorial service will be held to honor Eileen's life on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Stratford United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; phone: 1-800-822-6344) in her memory.
Eileen will be remembered for her zest for life, her generous heart, and the countless lives she touched throughout her journey. May her legacy live on in the love she inspired.
