Eileen M. Hetterich, age 83 of Madison, CT formerly of Kings Park, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2020 at Artis Senior Living in Branford. She was the widow of Paul W. Hetterich. Born in Corona, New York on October 18, 1936 she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes McGiever Brennan. Mrs. Hetterich was an administrative assistant for Hazeltine Corp., a defense electronic company in Huntington, NY, for many years until her retirement. She was an avid reader, and had a strong love for cooking and gardening, however her passion was her loving and devoted family, whom will all miss her deeply. She is survived by her six children; Jennifer Franz of Haverhill, MA, Susan Meyer and her husband Kurt of St. James NY, Paul Hetterich of Hawaii, Peter Hetterich and his wife Brenda of Kings Park, NY, John Hetterich of Fort Pierce, FL and Elizabeth Sawicki and her husband Geoff of Madison, CT. She is also survived by her 14 caring grandchildren and 16 precious great grandchildren with one on the way, as well as her sister Jean (Jack) Schramm of PA. In addition to her parents and her husband Paul, she was predeceased by her grandson, Gary Meyer, son in-law Bruce Franz and her siblings; Patricia (Ralph) Luthiger, and Joseph Brennan. Due to current health situations all services will be held privately. She will be interred with Paul at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
