Edna Mabel Corlette Hine, age 93, of Stratford widow of Kenneth F. Hine passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side. Born in Hoboken, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Edna Corlette and was a Stratford resident for 70 years. A 50 years member of Stratford United Methodist Church, Edna was active in the Women's club, book club and arts and craft at church. Edna enjoyed square and round dancing, traveling and playing canasta with her many friends. Survivors include her devoted daughter and son in law; Cheryl Lynn and Timothy Worrell of Stratford, 6 grandchildren; Travis Worrell and his wife, Kate, Deanna Worrell, Danny Singer, Charlotte Singer, Robert Singer Jr. and Adam Singer. She was predeceased by her daughter, Diane Singer and her companion George Bartram. Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday June 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Stratford United Methodist Church with Rev. Koonea Lee, officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford.
