Dorothy Solazzi, 97 of Stratford, CT, formerly of Trumbull, passed on August 17. She was predeceased by her husband Gus and brother Salvatore Cicale. She leaves behind her daughters, Candace Kenneally and husband Damien of Australia and Karen Solazzi and husband Chuck O'Connor of Stratford. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Mathew Kenneally and wife Chiara of Australia, Patrick Kenneally of California and Genevieve Kenneally and husband Geoff of NY. She has four great grandchildren: Lina, Gus, Joey and Alex. She was so proud of her grandchildren. They were the loves of her life. Dorothy was an avid reader, traveler and competitive game player. She loved getting together with the girls to play games. She had a zest for life right up to the end. She will be missed dearly, especially by Mohegan Sun. Services will be private. Donations may be made to her favorite charity St. Jude's children hospital.
