Dorothy A. Liepertz, age 95 of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Friday, July 4, 2014 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was bron in Bridgeport on September 3, 1918, a daughter of the late William and Hansina Madsen Liepertz. Dorothy was a graduate of Harding High School, Class of 1936 and was in banking for 50 years retiring as a Trust Officer at City Bank. Dorothy enjoyed her time organizing the Harding High class of 1936 reunion, the Goodspeed Opera House, working with the Republican National Committee and the Ronald Regan Congressional Library. She was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and UCONN Basketball. Dorothy was deeply passionate and dedicated to her church, Christ Church Tashua. She is survived by her nephew, Robert Pollack of Stratford, great nephew, Michael Pollock of Seymour, great niece, Lori LaPia and her husband Michael of Stratford and great grand nieces and nephews, Michael, Brianna and Kaitlin. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford, with Rev. Judith Greene officiating.
