Doris C. (Gloge) Warnstedt, age 83 of Stratford, wife of Harold R. Warnstedt died Monday August, 24, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born March 14, 1932 in Middle Village, New York to the late Fritz and Karolina Gloge. Doris moved with her husband to Stratford in 1961 from Queens. She was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary, Veterans Post 9460. She was a member of the Mothers of Twins Club and enjoyed bird watching, nature and attending the theatre. She is survived by her husband, Harold R. Warnstedt, daughters, Nancy Tiberio of Shelton, Vickie Ware of Stonington, Gail Novey of New Haven, son Andrew Warnstedt of Stratford, daughter Susan Gehrmann of Meriden and Lori Warnstedt of Fairfield. She is also survived by grandchildren, Kelly, Jennifer, William, Kay, Daniel, Jessica, Kimberly and Andrew; great grandchildren, Joseph, Alex and Juliana. She was predeceased by her sister, Lenore Gloge. Friends and relatives may greet the family on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. following the visitation with the Rev. Kathy Rohrs, Pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church, officiating.
