Donald Edward MacFadden, age 88, of Trumbull, went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Donald was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Matthew and Mary McBride MacFadden. He was owner and operator of MacFadden Distributors in Milford and was a WWII US Naval Corpsman serving in the Korean War.
Donald enjoyed golf and was a one of a kind hard working man, companion, entrepreneur, father, grandfather and a friend to those who knew him. Survivors include his beloved son Michael MacFadden and his wife Ann who were privileged to be there when he passed from this world into the hands of a loving God. Two granddaughters, Maryann MacFadden and Shannon MacFadden and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his companion of 25 years, Janet Carroll and his brothers, Robert, Joseph and Matthew MacFadden. Friends and relative are invited to greet the family during visitation on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford.
