Domenico Gugliotti, age 85 of Ellicott City, Maryland died peacefully on Friday, May 11, 2018 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Morcone, Italy, he moved to the US and served in the Army during the Korean War. Domenico lived and worked most of his life in Stratford, Connecticut before retiring as a general foreman at Sikorsky Aircraft and moving to Maryland to be near his family. He is predeceased by his parents Felice and Carmela Gugliotti, his brother Antonio Gugliotti, and his beloved son Anthony Gugliotti. Domenico is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years Angela Gugliotti; his loving son Phillip and his wife Vivien Gugliotti; and his three beloved grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Ted Murfree, Alessandra Gugliotti and her husband Kent Shefchek, and Michael Gugliotti. He is also survived by several extended family members stemming from Angela's brothers and sisters, including nieces, nephews, and their children.
Wake services will be held on Friday, May 18 between the hours of 4 and 8 pm at Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford, CT. Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9 am on Saturday, May 19 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, Stratford, CT.
