Denise Louise Weston, age 63 of Southbury, widow of Robert J. Weston Sr. passed away on Friday September 17, 2021 at her home.  Born in Bridgeport she was the daughter of the late Louis and Olga Root.  Denise worked at the Kennedy Center in Trumbull for over twenty years as a group supervisor helping with the mentally challenged and disabled. She was predeceased in addition to her husband and parents by a brother Kenneth Root. She is survived by her devoted son; Robert J. Weston Jr. and his wife Lindsay of Seymour, a loving grandson Robbie III, and by her grand dogs, Andie and Oakley. Visiting hours will be held on Friday September 24, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Deacon Raymond Chervenak, officiating.
