David P. Hadden, age 80, of Bridgeport passed away tragically on May 12, 2017 in Bridgeport Hospital . Born in Bridgeport he was the son of the late David and Constance Hadden. David worked in the maintenance department of Bridgeport Hospital for forty years retiring 15 years ago. . David was a faithful member of Summerfield United Methodist Church where he had many loving friends. He loved the outdoors and feeding birds. Survivors include his devoted godmother, Elsie Pratt and her son Alan K. Pratt and several cousins. Memorial services will take place on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Summerfield United Methodist Church, 110 Clermont Ave. Bridgeport with Rev. Herron Keyon Gaston, Pastor officiating. Burial will be held privately in Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation in his memory can be made to Youth Scholarship Fund c/o Summerfield United Methodist Church.
