David G Beaty, long time resident of Stratford, Connecticut passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023 after a long illness. Dave was the husband of Kathleen who passed away in 2015. He was the son of Adelaide and Albert E. Beaty and brother of Albert, Jr who all predeceased him. Dave was a 1973 graduate of the University of Bridgeport and a member of SKP/TKE fraternity. He began his career in insurance with Aetna Life and Casualty in Bridgeport. He moved on from Aetna to have a long and fulfilling career at Rand Insurance in Greenwich where he retired from a few years ago.

Dave was a man of many talents and many friends. He had a boat. He played multiple instruments. He was a photographer. He was a digital artist. He was a season ticket holder of the Bridgeport Islanders. He attended most UB home basketball games which became a passion of his as he got along in life. His friends were his friends for life, many going back over 50 years, and many recent additions. Whoever got to know him knew that he was kind and gentle and always there for them. Dave will be missed by everyone that he touched.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford. A memorial service will be scheduled and announced soon.
