Darlene Dalton Robertson, age 90 of Stratford, widow of Lloyd James Robertson Sr. passed away at home on October 25, 2015. Born in Muscoda, Wisconsin on August 1, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Kathleen Sales Dalton. Darlene was a volunteer at the Kennedy Center for 40 years and former acting director of the Epilepsy Foundation of America, Southern CT Chapter. She was a demolay mother with St. John Lodge # 3 in Bridgeport and was a member of the Stratford United Methodist Church for over 65 years where she enjoyed reading as a book club member at church. She was a loving and devoted mother to her family who survive her; a son, Lloyd J. Robertson Jr. and his wife Susan of Narragansett, RI, 2 daughters; Diane and Janice Robertson of Bridgeport, 3 grandchildren, Rebecca Jennison, Jessica Pernicone and her husband Brian and Michael Robertson, 4 great grandchildren, Gary, Elizabeth, Grayson and Eleanor and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers and one sister. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday October 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford with Rev. Simeon Law, Pastor of S.U.M.C. officiating. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday morning from 10:00 am. to 11:00 a.m. prior to services.
