Conchita R. Ortiz wife of the late John Ortiz passed away on August 11, 2022 at the age of 101 in Danbury, Connecticut. At the time of her passing she was a resident of the Filosa Nursing Home.

Mrs. Ortiz was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on May 1, 1921, the daughter of Juanita Robles Torres.  After coming to the United States, she resided in Warwick and Spring Valley, New York working as a seamstress before retiring to Orange Blossom Gardens in 1988 which is now known as The Villages in Florida.

Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her two sons, Joseph Robert and John Ortiz and her daughter Vivian Robert - Peltz. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and her 3 great- grandchildren. Mrs. Ortiz was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Robert and her daughter Janit Ortiz-Bischoff.

A private funeral service will be held for family only at their convenience.  Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Brick Church Cemetery, 221 Brick Church Road, Spring Valley, New York.
