Claire H. Hromjak, age 94 of Stratford passed away peacefully with her son Mark by her side, holding hands and praying on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the widow of Paul Hromjak and a devoted mother for many years. Born in Long Island, New York on March 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Caroline Westhall Hilker. Claire was a secretary for GE for many years and retired as a sales clerk at Sage Allen. It would be hard to find a nicer and kinder person than Claire. She is survived by her loving children; Paul Hromjak and his wife Sandra DeCesare-Hromjak of Milford, Mark Hromjak of Stratford and Janet Hromjak and her partner Claire Holston of Milford, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at St Mark Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
