Charlotte Bauer Severance, age 101 of Stratford, beloved wife of her late husband Raymond E. Severance passed away on March 13, 2026 at Bridgeport Hospital.   Charlotte was born in Stratford and resided there her entire life.  She was a graduate of Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing class of 1947.

She cared for many patients over her broad career which included Bridgeport Hospital, convalescent homes, Stratford Visiting Nurses, and 3030 Park where she retired as Director of Nursing.

She is survived by her 5 children, son William Severance and his wife Fran, four daughters Susan Wilson and husband Bill, Mary McNamara, Carol Wilcoxson all of Stratford, and Nancy Dagenhart of Windsor, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in the First Congregational Church, 2301 Main Street Stratford on Saturday March 21st at 2:00.   A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Congregational Church or to the charity of one's choice.
