Charles David Cunningham, 66 of Bridgeport Connecticut, passed away on January 26, 2024 in Uncasville Connecticut. He was born on October 19, 1957, in Bridgeport. Charles, known by his loved ones as an avid fisherman, carpenter, and mechanic, was a man of many talents. He dedicated his life to his passions and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Charles had a deep love for his family, and his kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him.

He is survived by his brother Glen Cunningham, brother James Cunningham, son Daniel Cunningham, wife Lenore Smith Cunningham, and grandchildren Damien Cunningham and Naiomi Papcun. Charles was preceded in death by his father James Cunningham, mother Ruth Cunningham, sister Jeanette Nadrizny, and brother Billy Cunningham. Charles pursued a career as a master carpenter at Calzone Case Co. in Bridgeport. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were admired by all who worked with him.

His wake will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2-4 pm at the Dennis and Darcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home located at 2611 Main Street, Stratford, Connecticut. Charles will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all the lives he touched. May his memory live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved him.
