Carole E. (Schorr) Walsh, age 97 of Stratford widow of Everett S. Walsh passed away at Lord Chamberlain Health Care on Tuesday February 3, 2015. Born in Trumbull she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice Weinberg Schorr. Carole was a retired employee for the City of Bridgeport working at Pleasure Beach and later at the Wonderland of Ice. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary at East End Yacht Club and loved reading, the beach and traveling especially to London. Survivors include a beloved son; William E. Walsh and his wife Jeanne of Stratford, a devoted daughter, Linda R. Walsh of Stratford, a loving grandson; William L. Walsh and his wife Ann, a great granddaughter, Emma , her sister, Alice Mason of Shelton and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Erma Morrissey and Harriett Bishop. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. A graveside service will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
