Carol A. Hamilton, age 76 passed away on Wednesday, February 19th at Bridgeport Hospital after a very long and courageous battle with MS.  Carol was born in Bridgeport, CT on August 17, 1948 to the late Joseph and ConcettaBuzak.

Carol attended Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport and graduated in 1966.  From there Carol went on to work at GE Supply also in Bridgeport.  She often spoke very fondly of her time there as a Key Punch Operator.  Carol would later attend a house party where she met her future husband Gary.  They dated and married in 1970.  Gary sold his prized forest green Corvette so they could buy a "family car" a 1970 yellow Volkswagen Beatle (stick shift)that Carol would love to drive in snowstorms and race people off the line at red lights.  She was fearless.  Carol and Gary built their forever home in 1979 where they remained until their passing.  Carol also worked in the Stratford School System in the cafeteria and as a teacher's aide at Early Beginning Pre-School in Stratford.  She loved working with the three and four year children.  Above all else Carol loved cooking and baking for her family when she could and spending time with them.

She is survived by her son Michael Hamilton of Stratford, CT, daughter Cheryl Ventriglia (Bruce) of Shelton, CT, grandsons Jacob Hamilton (Alani) of Stratford, Bailey Jasko (Danielle) of Shelton, CT, great grandson Ashton Jasko of Shelton, CT, her sister in law sister Amy Jean Van Arsdale of Milford, CT, her brother in law Danny Hamilton (Alisyn) of Gaylordsville, CT, her sister in lawAnn Hamilton of Topsham, ME, several cousins, nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, one great great niece, many lifelong friends and grand dogs Duke and Nate.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Alfred J. Stabile and cherished husband Gary P. Hamilton.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025  at 11:00 a.m. at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St., Stratford, CT 06615. Friends may greet the family prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow the funeral service at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
