Carlton Willis Brown, age 84 of Monroe passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Bridgeport Health Care. She was the loving and devoted wife to Benjamin O. Brown. Born in Edison, Georgia on December 7, 1929 she was a daughter of Randy and Rebecca Hawk Willis. She was a devoted parishioner of the Olivet Congregational Church in Bridgeport. In addition to her beloved husband Ben, she is survived by her son Wayne Brown and his wife Jinny of California and Veronica Brown Wright of Monroe. She is also survived by her brother Richard Willis of SC and her grandchildren; Maxwell, Lucius and Stefanie. She was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters. Friends may greet the family on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 10 am till noon at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street Stratford.
