Calvin Llewellyn Fordham, age 81, of Stratford husband of the late Evelyn Mae Bobko Fordham passed away on Saturday May 18, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Stratford he was the son of the late Llewellyn S. Fordham and Alice G. Short Fordham and was a life long Stratford resident. Calvin retired from the heating and oil burner division of the Town of Stratford. He served his country proudly as a U.S. Marine during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed gardening, beaches, fishing and was a member of the Natural Growth Fisherman's Organization and the Stratford Shell Fish Commission. Calvin is survived by his beloved children, a son; Calvin J. Fordham and his wife Janice, two daughters; Theresa Louise Pasternak and her husband John and Deborah A. Blair, all of West Haven, four loving grandchildren, Rebecca Duane, Jennifer Pasternak. Jessica Duane and Celina Spain, and a niece. All services will be private and under the direction of the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford.
