Betty Helen Cable Cink, age 80 of Stratford passed away on Monday January 12, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Sarah VanScoy Cable. Betty was a dispatcher for the Stratford police department and was a Stratford resident for 60 years. She was a volunteer with the Stratford E.M.S., enjoyed gardening and was always hunting for treasures at tag sales. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her beloved husband of 62 years, Edward W. Cink, his devoted children and their spouses; E. William and Catherine Cink of Berlin, Melanie C. and Theodore Kraus of Bristol and Leslie A. and Joseph Harry of Milford, a sister, Dorothy Zupsansky and husband Frank of Fairfield, sister in law, Violet Cable of Shelton. 7 grandchildren, Lauren (John) Firimonte, Nicholas (Meghan) Hogberg, Joshua Hogberg, Rachel Harry, Joseph Harry Jr, Jacob Cink and Grace Cink, 2 great grandchildren, Steven and Lily, her faithful dog "Terry" and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Congregational Church, 2301 Main St. Stratford with Rev.
