August "Auggie" L. Santolupo Jr., 78, of Milford, beloved husband of Patricia Santolupo, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Bridgeport on August 13, 1946, he was the son of the late Carmella and August Santolupo Sr.

Auggie was known for his quick wit, sharp mind, and, yes, a bit of a grumpy streak that endeared him to those who knew him well. His dedication to his family never wavered, standing as a constant source of strength and love throughout his life.

Along with his wife of 55 wonderful years, Auggie is survived by his two daughters, Alisa Brennan (partner Kevin Phillips) and Nicole Santolupo; his cherished granddaughters, Kayla Brennan (fiancé Dave Morgia) and Courtney Pasqualoni (husband Mitchell Pasqualoni). His family and best friend who was like a brother, Dave Seay, will forever hold him in their hearts.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the MICU staff at Bridgeport Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion during Auggie's final days.

Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 1 to 3 PM with a service at 2:30 at Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Auggie's memory to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which supports veterans, service members, and their families.

Auggie lived his life unapologetically, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that will not soon be forgotten.
