Arlene True Szarmach, age 81, widow of Alfred Szarmach passed away on Tuesday November 25, 2014 at Westport Health Care. Born in Bridgeport she was the daughter of the late Mills and Clara True. She was a cafeteria worker with Stratford High School before her retirement. Survivors include 3 sons; Richard Szarmach of Derby, Robert Szarmach of Ansonia and John Szarmach of Conroe, TX and a daughter, Debra Killian of Moresville, NC, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Christ Episcopal Church, 2000 Main St. Stratford with Rev. Scott Lee, Rector, officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Visiting hours will be held on Monday.
